Jingle,
I moved out of the city, years ago. I may end up moving south when I get tired of shoveling snow.

hope that your strength grow along with the battle against icy cold weather.

Do you plan to live in Chicago for good or move some years later?

Jingle,
I hope the winter ends in March 🙂 But it won’t.. We can get some major storms in March that hit hard, then melt just as fast.

Oh, I am very careful when I go near the road; I won’t step out if I see a car.

I have found that when I don’t feel the cold, I need to get indoors, fast.

Thank you for your concern. May your weekend be joyous!

it is weekend, it is still icy cold in your place, probably it will last until next March?

be careful when you walk near the driveway, because sometimes, cars get wild if the road is slippery.

i understand that your inspirations come from your walkway, indoor is warm, but you could not see the nature and the impacts the nature has on your thinking.

only if you get out, feel the opposite or bitter cold temperatures, then you could have the sense of security, warmth, and satisfaction of being home, safe and sound…

Have a Happy Weekend!

Minus the snowblower. Now I live somewhere that gets rain instead of snow and when snow does show up it’s treated like a natural disaster.

Now, that is the best way to enjoy the sounds of winter, inside and warm. There is ‘no place like home.’

Thank you for your comments.

Jingle,
Chicago does have its attractions.
I use to live on the Northwest side of Chicago, when it snowed all the neighbors came out to shovel. It became a time to talk , laugh and complain that the streets weren’t cleared.

Have a great day!
